Use your iPhone to trace and map your Roller Coaster rides. CoasterRider uses the iPhone GPS to track speed, elevation, distance and draw an animated map of your ride. You can see two different kinds of maps. One map shows you the location of all the parks and rides you visit. The other map shows an animated route of every twist, turn, climb and drop you take on your ride. The animated map shows speed and elevation as you travel through the course of the ride so you can recall the fun of each ride. This is a great way to map out your ride and see how far, how fast, and how quickly you changed elevation while riding your favorite coaster. Compare different rides on different parks by watching the animated maps or by viewing the ride statistics. This is a simple application that uses the GPS in your phone to collect information about your coaster rides. All information is saved on your phone so you can play it back later. Note: Continued use of location services running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. This application will not record location information for more than 30 minutes at a time.
